Anxiety, Relationship and LGBTQIA2S+ Therapy in Connecticut

A woman with curly hair, glasses, and a bright smile, sitting comfortably in a modern room. She is wearing a blazer and tan pants, with a leopard-print top. Beside her is a woven round side table with a small black pot of flowers and several stacked books. The room has natural light coming through a window with white curtains.

Welcome! My name is Emma Costa (She/Her)

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A), Brainspotting Clinician, and queer human who believes in the power of authentic connection.

I work virtually with adults across Connecticut healing from perfectionism and anxiety. I also provide therapy to monogamous (and non-monogamous!) adults who want to strengthen their relationships.

As someone with lived experience in the queer community, I know how hard it can be to untangle yourself from societal expectations and carve out a life that actually feels like yours. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and affirming, with a deep understanding of the resilience and courage it takes to carve out your own path.

About Sparks Between Us

The name Sparks Between Us was born from a belief in the little moments that matter! These are the electric connections we feel with ourselves, our partners, our communities. Sometimes we lose those sparks. Therapy can be a place to reignite them.

Whether you're trying to feel more connected in your relationships, overcome anxiety, or finally figure out who you are (and what you want), I’m here to start therapy with you.
